HOMEMADE TEETH WHITENER! SAY WHAT?!

unnamed-10

All over Instagram you see so many influencers promoting the teeth whitening kits with the ultra UV light that goes with it. I’ve had one sent to me before and they’re cool to try but I guess some work better than others. But, if you’ve got a hot date tonight and your pearly whites aren’t on point, then I strongly suggest this little homemade diddy.

STRAWBERRY TEETH WHITENER!

Ok, so I have done some research on this, so I’m not just saying this so that when you attempt it, you get a a whole heap of strawberry seeds stuck in your teeth, although that would be pretty funny. (Cos, then whose gonna have the guts to tell you, you have something in your teeth.) I digress.

As I was saying, that yes, I did some research into this, because I believe my Mum told me, when I was in primary school when she used to buy my brother and I a punnet of strawberries for morning tea everyday throughout winter, that STRAWBERRIES MAKE YOUR TEETH WHITER! Strawberries contain an enzyme called malic acid that removes stains.

After some hunting, here is the best method for getting those chompers to a nicer shade of white.

  1. Mash up one strawberry.
  2. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda to create a paste.
  3. Then get an old or a spare toothbrush and put the mixture on and cover your teeth in the paste.
  4. Wait 5 minutes then rinse your mouth out and then give them another brush with your normal toothpaste.
  5. Then woolahhh! You’re all hot date ready and you can smash as much coffee as you want without worrying about coffee stains!

HAPPY STRAWBERRY PICKING!
