Emcee | Sports Host

Ash’s passion for sport oozes out of her skin! She was an elite swimmer for 15 years competing in numerous Australian Titles and World Cups. After 8 years in the radio industry Ash has found another passion in “Sports Hosting.”

After a successful inaugural season for the Sunshine Coast Lightning, Ash was their on ground host seeing them right through to the 2017 Grand Final in Brisbane. From there, Netball Australia got her involved in the 2017 Quad Series in Brisbane. Ash is back on board as the official Sunshine Coast Lightning Ground announcer again for 2018.

As a keen swimmer, she was thrilled to be part of the swimming hosting team for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Where she interviewed the likes of Dawn Fraser, Brooke Hanson, Samantha Reilly, Meagan Nay and Ken Wallace just to name a few.

She even got the crowd of 10 000 people involved in a good ol’ sing-a-long to John Williamson, who just so happened to be sitting in the crowd…

With a wide range of knowledge of some of Australia’s favourite sports she’s not afraid to bring her own spark to the event! Crowd interaction is what she lives for and understands the louder the crowd are cheering the more encouragement the players receive! Ash was the on ground host for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup semi-final & final in Brisbane. Where she interviewed players such as, Cam Smith, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk and Valentine Holmes.

She has also taken part in ground hosting numerous NRL Games & the Global Rugby Tens in Brisbane.
